NETFLIX FESTIVAL TEASER
MOTION DESIGN-TYPOGRAPHY

For the launch of Netflix in France, Ogilvy & Mather Paris organized a festival of film and serial screenings in unusual locations. Ogilvy’s creative team asked us to produce the trailer.
We set out to provide a figurative illustration of the various cinematic genres and formats (films, TV series, documentaries), along with information about the festival.
Netflix stipulated absolute adherence to its graphic guidelines. In other words, sliding cards, three key colors, and occasional text. We rose to the challenge by rotating, folding and superimposing the cards in order to create a series of figurative visuals.

ANIMATION

We adapted this concept of stacked and animated cards by using highly fanciful angles. Combining these with simple Gotham script enabled us to create a range of images in strict compliance with the Netflix guidelines.
