We worked on a series of short animations for Louis Vuitton directed by Parachutes and produced by Slowdance.
Several range of products are pointed out : leather goods, jewels and foulards. We thought this video project for an exclusive digital use in order to animate the Louis Vuitton website as well as their social networks. One of the aims was to create movies that could be played on loop without the impression of beginning and end to bring them closer to moving GIF universe. So, formats are deliberately short.

One of the aims was to create movies that could be played on loop without the impression of beginning and end to bring them closer to moving GIF universe.
Each movie is associated with a simple graphic principle proposed by the Parachutes directors trio. We had to decline and animate those visual interplays into 9 short movies.

We also had to produce original musical tracks. We wish something very easy but very rhythmic. Those elements help to favor a play on loop without break impression. So those musical tracks were the ideal solution for an animated GIF use.

At the end, we have a very short movie set which are, thanks to the almost-mechanical movements, very memorable. They become highly efficient contents for the social networks, easily consumed, commentated and shared.
